The Steam store feature list checked on September 9 does not list Steam Workshop. The launch announcement and subsequent posts reviewed in official Steam news, through the September 8 discount reminder, also do not confirm a modding-support release.
Which kind of customization do you want?
If your goal is to choose puzzle types or change the timer, Custom mode is the officially documented option to explore. Its availability does not imply an external mod loader or Workshop integration.

Where can I download BOMBANANA mods?
We have not verified a compatible mod download for this page. Follow official news for the announced modding tools. If you find a third-party project, check its author’s release notes for the exact game version, dependencies and installation method rather than using instructions from a different game.
Does BOMBANANA have Steam Workshop?
Steam Workshop was not listed in the official store features checked on September 9. The developer FAQ describes work on modding support without specifying Workshop as the distribution method.
Can a mod let four players join?
